Jett Nathanial Prince, age 21 of Hillsboro, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Unity Medical Center in Manchester. A native of Hillsboro, he was born in Tullahoma on September 15, 2003, to Daniel Nathan Prince and the late Erin Cummings Prince. Jett loved and lived life to the fullest. He loved and valued his friends from grade school till the present. He was a true, genuine friend that never hesitated to be there for them in their time of need. Jett loved his "crazy" family and always made an effort to be present at all family gathering as he loved his cousins dearly. Jett was adventurous, he loved to go hiking to see the waterfalls, fishing, boating, playing pool, and going to the rodeos. He enjoyed and valued the time spent working on his old trucks, especially his "Red Truck" with his dad. Jett loved to travel to the beach, especially the Florida Keys. Jett was one of those rare "Old Souls". If you were privileged enough to meet him your conversation would go like this; "Hi, my name is Jett Prince, I'm glad to meet you" then, he would shake your hand. He never left without a hug and to saying, "I love you". Jett was complex, a deep thinker and listened more than he spoke. He enjoyed studying politics and history; and had a love for the Marines. Jett's future plans were to be a college professor in political science and join the Marine Corps. Most recently he become a lineman in April of this year, where graduated from SLTC lineman school in Trenton, Georgia. He was so proud of his accomplishment that he worked so hard for it, and how proud his family was for him. Jett made many friends from his PC-16 lineman group. They created memories and fun times with hopes of those friendships lasting a lifetime. He was employed at Factory Furniture in Estill Springs. Jett loved his job and his work family. He said they were so nice and kind to him. In addition to his mother, Jett is preceded in death by his grandfather, Wesley Cummings, great-grandparents, David and Melba Ena Shuford, Edward and Pollyanna Prince, Donald Edgar Smith and O'lena Frances Vaughn Smith. He is survived by his father Daniel Nathan Prince that he worshipped and loved more than life and step-mother, Brandy Owens; step-sisters, Becca and Bailey Owens; grandparents, Susan Prince, which called "Sue Sue"(Dale) Hiles, Thomas R. Prince, and Elizabeth "Beth" Cummings or Jett knew her as "Betty Boo"; aunts Sasha Sloan, and Kelsi Bush (Trent Duncan) who was like a big sister to him. He is also, survived by his great-aunts and great-uncles, Linda Smith (Charles Yokley) "Uncle Charles", Ginger (Scott) Bartlett, Donald Lee Smith, Chuck (Kathy) Wyatt; beloved cousins, Luke Daubenspeck, Deanna Smith (Logan) Good, Nolan Good, Alex (Elaina) Mayes, and baby Wesley whom he shares his birthday with Jett. He leaves behind so many precious loyal friends that were there for him throughout his life. Many other special people like Michelle, Sue, and Steve. He so enjoyed his conversations albeit at times with Diane Bryant and Ron Mayes. They were kindred spirits as Diane "got him". Jett, we promise to never let your light go out because you were loved. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2024, from 12:00pm – 2:00pm at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with funeral service following at 2:00pm from the chapel.
