J. Eileen Allen, 90, of Marietta, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born December 25, 1934 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late John H. and Beulah B. Scott Boso.
Eileen worked in the Southside Parkersburg K-Mart pharmacy, serving 15 years as a register clerk. She was a member of Grace Gospel Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Deborah Allen of Parkersburg and Kim Gurcan (Metin) of Winston-Salem, NC; three sons, Robert Allen (Carole) of Little Hocking, OH, William Allen (Peggy) of Parkersburg, and Randall Allen (Miriam) of Belpre; six grandchildren, Chris Smith (Lisa), Jeremy Allen, Meagan Powers (Anthony), Russell Allen (Brittany), Spenser Allen (Carly), and Jasmine Gurcan; three great-grandchildren, Ella Powers, Tucker Powers, and Addie Mathis; and one aunt, Clydie Scott.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Allen; her sister, Agnes O’Dell; one grandson, Brandon Allen; and a special uncle, Charles Scott.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Roger Benson officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen South. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Friday, June 20 at the funeral home.
