Lambert-Tatman Funeral Homes & Crematory-Pike Street - ParkersburgRobert Edward Leavitt, 74, passed away in his hometown of Parkersburg, West Virginia on August 24,2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Bob was a very fun-loving man that was full of life and loved telling stories of all his adventures and could walk into a room and lite it up. He loved the water, camping, and anything that went fast or had to do with racing. As a member of 1059 Union out of Columbus for the last 20 plus years he worked with his Meijers family and resided with his friend Mary Lou. Bob had also worked at Honda, Benson Truck Bodies, done a mechanics, welding and fabricating jobs over the years. Bob was a loving father to his two girls and grandchildren whom he enjoyed coming in to watch play softball PHS, soccer PHS and wrestling PSHS.
He is survived by his two daughters Catherine (Troy) Robison, Erica (Ronnie) Martin, and his four grandchildren, Brenda (Kurt) Marshall, Lindsey Robinson, Ryan Martin, Austin Keyse, two great grandchildren Liam and Kaison Marshall and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was proceeded in death by his beloved; parents Edward and Dorothy Leavitt, his two sons Jason and Joey Leavitt, and his granddaughter Coie Ann Sams, and his three beloved dogs; Georgie, Moose and Francheska.
A Celebration of life will be Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Local 565 Union Hall at 593 Cedar Grove Road, Parkersburg West Virginia from 2-4 p.m.
Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg, has been entrusted with Bob’s final wishes and are honored to serve the Leavitt family.
