Jiewen Hu was born on March 22, 1939, in Shenyang, to Suqin Miao and Yuheng Hu. She grew up in Tianjin city, and Jiewen Hu pursued a bachelor's degree in mathematics, leading her to become a successful math teacher many students admired.
She was known for her love for teaching and caretaking, which brought joy and inspiration to all who knew her. Jiewen Hu touched the lives of many with her intellect, wisdom, and loving nurturing and will be remembered for her years of teaching bright and now grownup students from all over the world.
Jiewen Hu is survived by her children, Hong Lei and Yan Wang, and her grandchildren, Anni Zhang and Arianna Jiang, as well as other family members. She was a beloved caretaker for the ones she held responsibility over, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to remember the life of Jiewen Hu at the Chiampa Funeral Home, 5 Church Road, On the Common, Shrewsbury Center, on Saturday, November 25th, from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
