Funeral services for Mrs. Jill Suzette Conn Lewing will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Lone Star Pentecostal Church, Hineston, with Reverends Neil Guidry and Kemp Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Elisha Memorial Cemetery, Glenmora, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mrs. Lewing, 61, of Union Hill, entered eternal rest on Friday, February 7, 2025, in her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved to travel in her free time. Jill was the proud owner of her canning business, "Country Canners." Her greatest joy was being a nanny to her adoring grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Halcott and Lynn Conn; and one aunt, Kat Williamson.
Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include her loving husband of thirty years, Shane Lewing of Union Hill; three daughters, Tiffini Jones (Chance) of Union Hill, Toni Emmons (Frank) of Union Hill, and Taylor Paulk (Clancy) of Deville; two sisters, Tracey Ostrander (Steve) of Pineville, and Stacey Yvette Hardy (David) of Philadelphia Community; five grandchildren, Karlee Faith Jones, Emmalynn Grace Jones, Easton Lee Jones, Nixon Lane Emmons, and Addalynn Suzette Emmons; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
A time of visitation will be held at Lone Star Pentecostal Church, Hineston, on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are: R.C. Hagan, Haylan Ostrander, Delton Hardy, Colton Hardy, Ryan Lewing, and Blake Lewing. Honorary pallbearers will be Clint McLaughlin and Lee Fee.
