It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jillian "Jill" Bedard, who passed from a pulmonary embolism on June 3rd, 2025.
Jill was born in Dover, NH to Paul and Lorie Bedard. Jill graduated from Noble High School in 2017, from NHTI with an associate's degree in dental hygiene in 2020, and from SNHU with a bachelor's degree in accounting in 2024. Jill fulfilled a lifelong dream of escaping the New England winters, and moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2024 to work at Matson Driscoll Damico as a forensic accountant. Jill was known for her confidence, tenacity, humor, and kindness.
Jill was a life-long dancer, and then teacher, at one of her favorite places, Studio 109 in Gonic, NH. She kept in touch with everyone at the studio, but was especially close to Lauren, Paislee, Joelle and Britney. Jill loved to create gifts and projects with her cricut, sewing machine, or whatever medium she could find a youtube tutorial for. Projects were always completed under the watchful supervision of her adored rabbit, Lenny. Her sister Renee will never forget the many long weekends they spent working on their quilts in Jill's Dover apartment. Jill's passion for creating began early when she would help her dad with various home projects in her childhood. She was Paul's shadow, whether it be fishing, nature walking, or just manual labor, she was always by his side with a smile on her face, an eagerness to learn, and occasionally a hard hat on her head and a tool belt around her waist. She would continue to be helpful to anyone who asked throughout her life. She helped plan the yearly family trips to the lake house with beloved cousins Catherine and Amanda Jacobs. Jill enjoyed spending time with her childhood friends, Kendra and Leah, and would travel across the country to see them. She was hooked on golfing after her first time with brother-in-law Seamus, and immediately went out and bought golf clubs. Even with all the friends and activities going on in her life, Jill always made time to video call her mom, usually to talk Harry Potter or to compare tomato plants. Jill also had a talent for persuasion, managing to get her mom on a roller coaster for the first time when they shared a trip to Jill's happy place, Universal Studios. To know Jill was to love Jill, she made lifelong friends everywhere she went.
Jill is survived by her parents Paul and Lorie, beloved sister Renee, grandmother Olive Staples, grandfather Armand Bedard, countless friends, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
