Jim Gatewood Obituary
Jim was born September 9, 1964, son of James S. and Starrlayne Bowers Gatewood. He was the owner and operator of Unique Renovations for almost 30 years, a 1982 graduate of Trinity High School, and a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching UofL athletics, Nascar, The Street Rod Nationals and especially spending time with his family and friends at Rough River.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his son, Brandon Gatewood; and siblings, Chris and Kersen Gatewood.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Davis Gatewood; children, Valerie Blanchette (Stephen), Nolin Gatewood (Andrea Emberton) and Dalton Gatewood (Brandy Scarlott); and grandchildren, Miles Blanchette, Levi Blanchette, Audrey Gatewood and Sylvia Gatewood.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
