Jim "Jimmy" D. Golden, 71, of Morton, IL and formerly from Princeville, IL passed away on July 08, 2025 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice in Peoria, IL. He was born July 29, 1953 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to Charles and Carol (Vanderford) Golden. Jimmy married Lorena, she preceded him in death.
Jimmy was an avid fisherman. He had a passion for woodworking. Jimmy enjoyed listening to his favorite music and spending time with family and his best friends.
He is survived by his family: son, Christopher M. Golden of Pekin, IL; daughter, Melissa J. Henricks of Peoria, IL; son, Charles R.(Samantha) Golden of Peoria, IL; son, James R. (Heidi) Golden of Elmwood, IL; sisters, Linda Golden, Judy Hart, Mendy Noblin, Michelle Berry; and brothers, Brad Golden, Michael Golden; five grandchildren, Hannah, Wyatt, Huxley, Veda, Hazel and many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mike Simpson and sisters, Peggy Sargent and Polly Philbee.
