James (Jim) H Watson II, age 81, of Longview, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2024, at a local hospital in Longview Texas.
Jim was born January 9th, 1943, in Kilgore, Texas to James Henry and Marie (Peggy) Langham Watson. He worked in Law Enforcement for Union Pacific Railroad for many years before retiring. He was enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was a devoted member of the Spring Hill First Baptist Church for many years. He was very involved with The American Legion Post 140, serving as Commander for 18 years.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Watson of Longview, daughter, Kelli Watson of Cedar Hill, Texas, son, Lloyd von Senden of Longview, Texas, grandson, Chase von Senden of Lincoln, Missouri, two great-grands and many cherished friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a granddaughter, Kristin Elaine Carter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
