Jimi Wright Lindley, 45, of Winnsboro, Texas, passed away on March 9, 2025. He was born on April 3, 1979, in Big Spring to Lamberto Lindley and Cheryl Ragsdale Lindley.
Jimi was a proud graduate of the University of North Texas, where he earned a double major in History and English. He pursued a career in the restaurant industry, working as a Regional Manager for Sonic restaurants. Beyond his professional life, Jimi was a man of many passions. An avid reader, he found joy in the written word, both as a consumer and a creator. He wrote poetry and short stories, even having one of his stories published-an accomplishment that brought him great pride. Jimi also had a deep love for music and art, often singing and expressing himself through creative endeavors.
Jimi will be deeply missed by his father, Lamberto Lindley; his sister, Cheri Lindley; and his brothers, Ryan Lindley and Kenneth Lindley. He is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Cheryl Lindley.
His family and friends will forever remember by his infectious laugh, beautiful heart and ability to debate any topic for hours!.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a literacy or arts program in Jimi's name, reflecting his lifelong love of storytelling and artistic expression.
