Jimmie Dale Allen, age 76, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, passed away on September 19, 2025, at the Veterans Center in Claremore, Oklahoma, while under hospice care. Jimmie lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family. He will be remembered for his steady presence, warm heart, and the many ways he touched the lives of those around him. He proudly served his country, beginning in the Army Reserves from February 1969 to 1974, and then on active duty in the United States Army from 1974 to 1979. His years of service reflected his deep commitment to duty, honor, and country. He is survived by his children: Wendy (Chris) Stevenson of Nemaha, Nebraska; Ira (Tiffany) Blum of Tarkio, Missouri; and Jimmie (Calliandra) Blum of Neillsville, Wisconsin. Jimmie was a grandfather to: Skye (Tommy) Grafton of Auburn, Nebraska; Kyron (Kelsey) Rosno of Lincoln, Nebraska; Hunter Stevenson of Nemaha, Nebraska; Brett Stevenson of Lincoln, Nebraska; Jayden Ford of Auburn, Nebraska; Andrew Blum, Ethan Blum, Brayden and Meadow Beckstead of Neillsville, Wisconsin; and Emily Blum and Hunter Blum of Tarkio, Missouri. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Gavin Palmerton of Auburn, Nebraska, and one precious great-grandchild expected later this year-who will have the special honor of meeting their great-grandfather before joining the family. Jimmie is also survived by his brother, Carl (Peggy) Allen of Nebraska City, Nebraska; along with five nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Virgie Allen, and his sister, Sherry Rossi. Jimmie loved to fish and hunt and found great joy in spending time outdoors. Later in life, he cherished the simple comfort of sitting back and watching his westerns. His family will remember him for his love of nature, his stories, and the quiet strength he carried throughout his life. Arrangements are pending and will be announced once finalized.
