Jimmie Lee (James) Bell was born on December 13, 1952, to Will Horace Bell Sr, and Olethea Stroman Bell in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ at an early age at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, in Bienville, Louisiana.

He graduated from Shady Grove High School in Bienville Parish, Louisiana.

At the age of 21, Jimmie enlisted in the United States Army on November 01, 1974. Serving as an Auto Mechanic, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He received honorable discharge on October 29, 1976. Following his military service, Jimmie attended the University of Kansas where he earned his certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC).

He later settled in Topeka, Kansas, where he worked many years in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration for both commercial and residential sectors.

Jimmie eventually moved to Atlanta, GA. He continued to work various jobs, until he landed a position with Kenco Heating and Air Conditioning, in which he was employed for thirty years. This position gave him the ability to work in Commercial and Residential sectors taken him all around the state and Georgia to install or repair HVAC systems in various franchise and across state lines.

He is proceeded in death by his mother Olethea S. Bell, father Will Bell Sr, three sisters Willie B. McDaniels, Gladys Gilbert, Lorene Easter, Ruby Pervis, three brothers Sammie Bell, Wash Bell, Jerry Bell and two granddaughters Chasidy Adams and Oriella Adams

He leaves to cherish his memory wife Cynthia D. Bell, three sons- Gregory Lee (Joy) of Bossier, LA; Fredrick Bell of Olathe, KS and Marcus Bell of Olathe, KS. Devoted son and daughter Rantwan Adams and Kakeya (Keke) Adams both of Atlanta, GA. Eighteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister Marchella Bell of Atlanta, GA; one brother Will Bell Jr. (Marjorie); Shreveport, LA, six brother-in-laws Floyd Rae Gilbert of Bienville, LA; Eddie Puckett of Atlanta, GA; Willie A. Puckett of Atlanta, GA; Milton Puckett of Atlanta, GA; Gerald Puckett of York, PA and John P. Puckett(Leslie) of

Atlanta, GA. Five sister-in-laws Emma Jean Bell, Bienville, LA; Frances Holland of Atlanta, GA; Nellie Puckett of Atlanta, GA; Lucinda Goodrum of Atlanta, GA and Claudia Jarrell of Atlanta, GA and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
