Graveside services for Jimmie Carraway, 82, of Bastrop, LA formally of Winnsboro, LA will be 2 PM Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at Providence Memorial Cemetery Winnsboro, LA with Rev. Elvis Taylor officiating with interment to follow in Providence Cemetery, under the direction of Dennard First National Funeral Home Winnsboro, LAMr. Jimmie a self-employed Truck Driver traveled all over the United States and in Canada, was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie B. Carraway and Livania Wilson Carraway, brother, George Carraway, sisters, Joy Smith, Vivian Kimble, Sandra Stutts, and Dorothy Carraway.He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillian Carraway of Bastrop, LA; two sons, Jessie Carraway and his wife Kelly Jo of Sterlington, LA, and Tim Carraway and his wife Ruth of Crossett, AR; daughter, Stacey Talton Malone of Bastrop, LA; grandsons, Jonathan Blake Carraway of Little Rock, AR, and Zachary David Carraway and his wife Bradyn of Booneville, AR; granddaughters Symantha Reese Talton of Bastrop, LA, Kelsie Lanan Norton and her husband Cole of Hampstead, NC and Lindsey Shea Carraway of Hampstead, NC and a bonus granddaughter Aunjalique Barton of Bastrop, LA Pallbearers will be Jessie Carraway, Timothy Carraway, Jonathan Carraway, and Zachary Carraway.
