Jimmie Kent

FULTON- Jimmie W. Kent, 88, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, at The Meadows in Fulton. She was born November 4, 1936 to the late Jim McFadden and the late Ruble Chamblee McFadden. For 18 years, Jimmie owned and operated Trailblazer's Truck Stop, a cherished establishment that served as a welcoming haven for travelers and residents alike. Her dedication to the business reflected her strong work ethic, warm hospitality, and commitment to fostering connection in the community. A person of faith, Jimmie was a member of New Home Baptist Church where she was actively involved in church activities, finding joy and purpose in serving others and sharing their spiritual journey. She was also an avid reader, often immersing in books that sparked her curiosity and broadened her perspectives. Above all, Jimmie cherished spending time with family, creating countless memories filled with love, laughter, and togetherness.
Services will be at 3:00pm on Tuesday September 16, 2025, at Senter Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Warren officiating. Burial will be in New Home Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Tuesday September 16, at Senter Funeral Home.

She is survived by her son, Hady (Mitzi) Walton of Fulton; grandchildren, Stephanie (Stan) Digby of Fulton, Andrea (Robert) Ross of Katy, TX, and Chris Walton of Houston, TX; great grandchildren, Jordan Digby, Chloe Digby, Ethan Ross, Ava Ross, and a host of other family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Ruble McFadden; son, Eddie Walton; grandson, James Hady Walton, Jr.; brothers, Charles McFadden, Paul McFadden, and Johnnie McFadden.
