Jimmie Pettis Obituary

Born January 7, 1970, at Bell City, MO, to the late Willie Shannon and Cora Pettis, he had lived in Sikeston his entire life and had worked in construction and the salvage business a number of years.
Surviving is his daughter, Allora Yvonne Beard-Pettis of New York, NY; his longtime companion, Teresa Washer Hale of the home; his brothers, Jerry Pettis and Lorenzo Pettis; his sisters, Bernice Clark and Lavonda Pettis; as well as a number of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Ray Pettis and his sister, Beverly Pettis.
A celebration of life is being planned for a future date.
McMikle Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
