Jimmie Lee Simpson, 76, was born July 18, 1948, in Kosciusko, Mississippi and passed away on August 05, 2024, in Rosenberg, Texas.
Jimmie was a veteran and served in the Vietnam war. He later moved to Houston and became a very successful businessman and raised three children.
A visitation will be held in the chapel of E.P. Compean Funeral Directors, 1223 Sixth St., Rosenberg, TX 77471, on Friday, August 9, 2024, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm with a religious service beginning at 6:30pm.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Simpson; brother, Rufus Earl Simpson, and sisters, Mary Etta Veasy, Mae Bell Campbell.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, his sons Brandon and Nicholas Simpson; daughters Amanda Simpson and Samantha Tate Williams, granddaughter Madyson Wiley, grandson Jalem Tate Williams, sisters, Ruthie Dodd, Ola Mitchell, his brother John Simpson, niece Shirley Simpson Dodd along with numerous other nieces, nephews, friends, and other loved ones.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to E.P. Compean Funeral Directors, “Our Family Serving Your Family”, 1223 Sixth St., Rosenberg, TX. 77471, 281-238-4443.
