Isabell "Lisa" (Cortez) Frank, 63, of Richmond, passed away on August 8, 2025. She was born on July 24, 1962 to her parents, Ernest and Shirley Cortez Sr. in Richmond, Texas. A lifelong resident of Rosenberg/Richmond, Lisa attended Lamar Consolidated High School. She worked in food services at LCISD for many years and had recently retired in May. Lisa was in her 'happy place' at their bay house in Sargent where she so loved the beautiful sunsets when God called her home. She is preceded in death by her parents; and survived by her beloved husband, Mark of 28 years, her son, Tyler (wife Scarlet) and her grandson, Aiden. She is also survived by her sisters, Josie (husband Robert), Trini (husband Mike), Mary (husband Marvin), and Dee Cortez; brothers, Ernest Cortez Jr., John (wife Karen), Jimmy, Joe and Rick; along with her nephews and nieces. Lisa was very loved and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. We lost a bright light and kind-hearted soul, but we know she is watching over us from Heaven. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 6:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Davis- Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him and he will make straight your paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6 Expressions of remembrance and condolences are welcome and may be left for the family at www.davisgreenlawnfh.com.
