Jimmie Dwaine Tyner, 76, of Muskogee, OK, was born February 15, 1949, to Newt and Lorene (McDaniel) Tyner in Muskogee, OK and passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2025, in Muskogee. Jimmie was a kindhearted and hardworking man with a gentle spirit and an adventurous soul, who found joy in life's simple but meaningful passions. Jim graduated from Crooked Oak High School in OKC. He was an avid gardener with a patient, nurturing touch, a skilled hunter and fisherman with a deep respect for the outdoors, and a curious explorer with a keen eye for discovering arrowheads. Creative and resourceful, he took pride in his careful woodworking, his rich homemade wine, and his flavorful canning. With a warm presence and a musical heart, he often filled quiet evenings with the heartfelt strum of his guitar, leaving behind memories as vibrant, enduring, and genuine as the life he lived. He will be dearly missed. Jimmie is now reunited with his parents, Newt and Lorene (McDaniel) Tyner; and his brother, Newt Tyner, Jr. He is lovingly survived by his wife, RaeLene of the home; son, Curtis Tyner of Okay, OK; daughter-in-law, Shana Tyner of Okay, OK; and granddaughter, Kaysha Graves of Duluth, MN, extended family, and many friends. A celebration of Jimmie's life will be 1PM, Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Frank Gladd American Legion Post #20 in Fort Gibson. The family encourages family and friends to bring their favorite baked goods to celebrate with food and fellowship. The family of Jimmie Dwaine Tyner has entrusted his care and cremation to Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home, Fort Gibson. 918-478-2555.
