Kenna Shae Briggs

Kenna Shae "Boobear" Briggs, 23, of Fort Gibson, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, August 14, 2025, in Fort Gibson. She was born on January 7, 2002, in London, Ontario, Canada, to Kenneth Proudfoot and Danna Coppage. On August 5, 2022, Kenna married Jacob Briggs. Together they shared a loving bond and were proud parents to two beautiful children, Rosalie and Dylan. Kenna had a vibrant spirit and found joy in expressing herself as a TikTok creator. Her creativity and energy resonated with many who followed her journey. She loved swimming and was an avid fan of Grey's Anatomy. Music played a central role in her life-she attended numerous festivals and concerts that brought her immense happiness. A gifted poet and songwriter, Kenna had a beautiful voice that touched those around her. Encouraged by her mother to pursue music professionally, she released two songs on Spotify-an achievement that reflected both her talent and dedication. Kenna's brilliance shone through her artistic pursuits and the love she shared with her family. Though she faced personal struggles, her memory will live on through the lives she touched and the creative legacy she leaves behind. Kenna is now reunited with her grandparents, Colleen Elizabeth Kelly and Danny Ray Coppage; and her great grandmother, Elaine Coppage. Those left behind to cherish Kenna's memory are her mother, Danna Coppage of Fort Gibson; her father, Kenneth Proudfoot of Fort Gibson; husband, Jacob Briggs of Fort Gibson; her children, Rosalie Briggs and Dylan Briggs, both of Fort Gibson; her twin sister, Rylee Proudfoot of Muskogee; aunts, Vanessa Harris of Fort Gibson and Shelley Coppage Ball and husband Lynn of Vermont; uncle, Ian Proudfoot and wife Lisa of London, Ontario; cousins, Morgan Harris-Rice and husband Seth of Fort Gibson, Regan Harris of Fort Gibson, Bailey Harris and wife Brooke, Eric Proudfoot and wife Devon of Strathroy, Ontario, and Lucas Proudfoot of London, Ontario; grandmother, Stacha Burgess of Fort Gibson; grandfathers, Edward Burgess of Kentucky and Doug Proudfoot of London, Ontario; extended family; and many friends. Visitation with family receiving friends will be 5PM-7PM, Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home in Fort Gibson. Kenna's life will be celebrated 10AM, Friday, August 22, 2025, at Clifford D Garrett Family Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Gibson with Father Alessandro Calderoni officiating. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Citizens Cemetery in Fort Gibson with Kenneth Proudfoot, Reagan Harris, Jacob Briggs, Seth Rice, Adam Myers, and Nick Windsor serving as casket bearers.
