Louise (Bolin) Wilks was born September 26, 1941, to Curtis and Helen (Butler) Bolin in Bonham, TX. She passed away June 29, 2024, at her residence in Telephone, TX.
Louise married George Wilks on June 25, 1960, in Bonham, TX. She was the head baker at Tom Thumb Grocery and of Church of Christ faith. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend. Louise and her faithful Christian example will be greatly missed.
She is survived by; children, Rhonda Wilks, George "Bud" Wilks, Jr. and wife Jamie, Glen Wilks, Rochelle Wilks Pierce, Renee Wilks and Regena Wilks. Grandchildren, Brittany Wise, Shane Wilks and wife Megan, Logan Wilks and wife Audrey, Heath Wilks, Leah Wilks, Troy Wilks, Emma Johnson and husband Nick, April Delgado and husband Hector, Zach Collins, Shaylee Richardson, and Joseph Richardson. Great grandchildren, Steven Wilks, Chloe Wilks, Jacob Wilks, and Ariella Delgado, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Louise is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Helen Bolin as well as her beloved husband George.
No formal visitation will be held.
