Jimmie Wiseman

Jimmie "Jim" Charles Wiseman (94) died Sunday, July 23, 2023 at his Springfield home with his family by his side.
Jim was born November 5, 1928 in Wiseman, Arkansas to Samual and Faye Wiseman.
He was united in marriage to Patsy Ruth Keltner on August 10, 1975 in Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Wiseman; brother, Bill Wiseman; sister, Nancy Barber; granddaughter Karmen Palmer-Gonzales; grandson Erol Wolfgang Palmer; great granddaughters Emilee Palmer and Olivia Gonzales and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by daughter Marsha Palmer, mother Faye, father Samual, and brother Edsel Wiseman.
Jim was a firefighter for the City of Springfield, MO where he became a Captain of his fire station. Jim was also an avid fisherman, where he liked nothing better to be on the lake of the crack of dawn to start his day. He poured his own sinkers and made his own lures. He also liked to garden and carve wood.
Jim loved his family and friends and will truly be missed.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. A celebration of Jimmie's life will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Greenlawn South Funeral Home with interment to follow in Manley Cemetery.
