Jimmy Dew Obituary

Jimmy most recently attended services at The Palace Church in downtown Monroe. He drove buses for Trailways (Greyhound) for over 40 years. He umpired baseball and softball for many years, and was a referee for basketball. He was the coach and pitcher at Central Baptist Church. The team won numerous awards.
Jimmy was preceded by death his parents, Clarence and Georgia Thompson Dew; brothers, W.J. Dew, Charles Dew, Billy Dew.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Angela Dew (Mark Thompson), Jimmy Ledell Dew, Jr. and Julia Clark (Mike); sister, Bobbie Fae Clark; grandchildren, Tara Floyd Tucker (Devin), Lyndsey Mouk (Chris), Johnathan Dew (Alisha), Nicholas Clark and Drew Clark; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; nieces and nephews, Charlotte Riveria, Gayle Hathcox, Roger Dale Dew, Jerry L. Dew, Patricia Dew, James Dew, Andrew Clark, Kay Bailey and a host of cousins, family members and friends in Holly Ridge, LA.
Memorial Services will be held at a later date.

Hi this is me way after his birthday but, this past birthday without my great grandfather was very tough but I still got threw it tearless and I will always Remember he loved me, he still does, and always will.
