Jimmy Fleming Obituary
Mr. Jimmy Roger Fleming, 64, of East Paoli Road, Carlton, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
Born in Elberton on December 10, 1960, Mr. Fleming dedicated many years of his life to his work as a train operator, retiring from Metro Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). Known for his dedication and strong work ethic, he made lasting contributions in his field.
Mr. Fleming is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Hicks; son, Aljuon Fleming; brothers: Harry Fleming and Kenny Fleming; and sister, Linda Fleming. He also has seven grandkids – three girls and four boys. His family and friends will remember him fondly for his compassionate nature and unwavering support.
He is preceded in death by his beloved son, Eric Fleming, whose memory will forever be cherished by their family and friends.
