Jimmy Peden Obituary

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Lenora Peden; his wife, Judy Peden; brother, Glenn Peden; and sister, Mary Sue Little.
Jimmy served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1970. He was a member of Local 43, plumbers and steamfitters for 50 years. Jimmy also enjoyed restoring old, antique cars, and loved his family very much.
He is survived by his daughter, Beth Allen of Cohutta; son, Kevin Peden of Dayton, TN; sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn Chase of Cohutta, JoAnn and Doyle Young of Chattanooga, and Dimple Hodges of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Joy Peden of Cohutta; grandchildren, Macy (Zach Ellis) Peden, Asa Miller, Grafton Allen, and Morgan Allen; and great-grandchild, Holden Ellis.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 3:00 pm at the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 12:00 pm until the service hour of 3:00 pm.
Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.
