Brandy Michelle "Pookie" Peden

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brandy Michelle Peden on Tuesday, March 4th, 2025 at the age of 49 years old. Brandy was born on February 22, 1976, in Pampa, Texas, to her loving parents, Michael Peden and Beverly Anderson.
A proud graduate of Pampa High School's Class of 1994, Brandy went on to study Medical Transcription. Throughout her life, she worked tirelessly as a waitress at Peggy's Place, Granny's, Pizza Hut, and as a bartender at Hideaway and OCB. She was known for her warm hospitality, serving coffee, beer, and a side of gossip with a sparkle in her eye. Brandy embraced life with wit, humor, and an irrepressible energy, whether at work or at home. She was a devoted mother, lovingly nicknamed "Pookie" by her youngest, Ryleigh. Her pride and joy were her grandkids, whom she adored deeply.
In her leisure time, Brandy loved reading, indulging in phone gambling games, and collecting miniature figurines. She cherished her friends, her dogs, and the vibrant chaos of being in the mix. Her laughter and sarcasm were the trademarks of her personality, bringing joy to those around her.
Though her disabilities later in life robbed her of mobility, Brandy's spirit remained undaunted. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience that will forever be cherished by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Meeting her on the road to Heaven were her mother and stepfather, Beverly and Michael Anderson; her dad and stepmother, Michael and Liz Peden as well as her best friend and the Godmother to her youngest daughter, Jodie Estep.
Brandy leaves behind her four children, Ashleigh Christy and husband Mike, Tyler Hulsey, Evan Arreola and wife Kylie and Ryleigh Peden all of Pampa. She is also survived by her brother, Brian Peden, and his wife Kelli of Minnesota. Her best friends for life, Michelle Nolte and her husband Steve, Carla Corley, and Alicia Nunn who all held a special place in her heart. Brandy was the proud grandmother of three beautiful grandchildren: Cora "Coco" Arreola, Tyler "Juice Box" Pagano, and Owen Pagano.
Celebration of Life Memorial Services are scheduled for 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 22, 2025 at the Pampa Recreation Park City Lake. The family has entrusted the cremation care of their loved one to Winegeart Funeral Home.
