Jimmy Marcus Simpson, 70, of Jones Oklahoma, died December 16, 2023, at Mercy Hospice.
Mr. Simpson was born June 17, 1953, in Santa Maria, California, to Floyd and Joyce Simpson.
Attended Foothill HS, Bakersfield, CA. Served in the Air Force from 1973 to 1996, Systems Analyst and Computer Programmer. Stationed at Edwards AFB, CA; Offutt AFB, NE; Fort Ritchie MD; and Elmendorf AFB, AK. Received his B.S. Degree 1996 from Wayland Baptist. After retiring from the AF, he continued to work as a programmer at Alaska National Insurance from 1996-2016. Alaska resident from 1988-2016. Moved to Oklahoma the summer of 2016 where he and Carla built their dream house in Jones, OK.
He is survived by his wife, Carla Simpson, daughter Samantha Heins her spouse Samuel Heins and grandchildren (Sioned and Sebastian); son Sean Simpson his spouse Stacy Simpson; sister Ann Simons her spouse Dave; and brother Mike Simpson his spouse Sharon.
Jimmy loved meeting and helping people, playing golf, flyball sport participation, and planning Tesla trips and following Tesla technology.
