Jo-Ann G. Kinosh

Jo-Ann G. (Daveluy) Kinosh, 80, of Bristol, widow of Paul Kinosh, died on Thursday (August 28, 2025) in the comfort of her own home.

Born in Bristol on August 16, 1945, she was a lifelong resident, graduate from Bristol Eastern High School.

Jo-Ann worked as a secretary at Bristol Hospital in the ER/Outpatient units for 25 years before her retirement. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Bristol.

She enjoyed the outdoors and tending to her garden. A devoted grandmother, her greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her parents: Andrew and Alice Painter and a brother: David Daveluy.

Jo-Ann is survived by three children: Michelle Kinosh of Bristol, Michael Kinosh and wife, Rositta of Georgia, and Amy Coates and husband, Preston of Burlington; five siblings: Pamela McLaughlin of Brookfield, Linda Beck of Bristol, Linda Bozek of Meriden, John Painter of Colorado Springs, CO, and Jean Rasmus of Saco, ME; four grandchildren: Joshua Kinosh and wife, Fia, Jason Kinosh, Ethan Coates, and Lilly Coates; two great grandchildren: Nicolas and James; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 11 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 154 Meadow St., Bristol. Burial will follow in Peacedale Cemetery, James P. Casey Rd., Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Immanuel Lutheran Church on Friday between 10 and 11 AM prior to the service.
