Jo Ann Barentine

Jo Ann Barentine, 68, of Glenwood, AR passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, in Bonnerdale, AR.
Jo Ann was born July 27, 1956, to Kenneth and Betty Barentine in Murfreesboro, AR.
Jo Ann worked at Shelby Manufacturing until she retired. She was a member of Community Fellowship Church in Glenwood. Jo Ann spent her days enjoying gardening, crocheting, crafting, taking mini trips with family and talking to God. Her favorite thing to do was doting over and loving her many nieces and nephews, which she lovingly referred to as "her children."
Jo Ann was one of the most loving and caring people you could ever know. She loved deeply and it showed in every aspect of her life. Although she is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Betty Barentine of Glenwood, and her brother Don Barentine of Glenwood.
Jo Ann is survived by 8 siblings: Terry Finney of Glenwood, David (Renee) Barentine of Hot Springs, Lynn (Greg) Peace of Glenwood, Trudy (Roger) Carter of Bonnerdale, Todd Barentine of Glenwood, Rena' (Craig) Poirier of Glenwood, James Barentine of Glenwood, and Amber (Terry) Ramsey of Lebanon, TN, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
In honor of her final wishes, Jo Ann's remains will be buried at Bear Creek Cemetery between her mother and father at a later date.
"For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time has come for my departure. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day – and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:6-8
