Miss Jo was such a blessing. She has truly been a delight to all of my boys. 3 of my 4 have been blessed to be in her care over the past 10 years. She's always got a smiling face and always greeted each of my boys by name everytime we entered the doors at Creative Learning every morning. She is going to be missed so so much. We love you Miss Jo!

Jo Ann was a friend from childhood because our families knew each other. We went same church and later the Bible college. She loved her whole family very much. She talked about Mike and her daughter and son with love and pride. Jo Ann was about the most unselfish, caring person I ever met. She went beyond what was expected of her. And didn't even have to really know you to do that. She liked to read and would bring me articles to read from the One magazine or any article that was "well written". She left items that she thought I need on my door step. (She did that others too). We talked we prayed at times. She was my friend. She will be greatly missed. But I know that heavens gates swung wide as she was ushered in.

My name is Trista. I worked with Ms. Jo for 10 years at Creative Learning. I am so sorry to hear about Ms Jo. She was my mentor while working with her and even after. If you are in day care, then you wanted to be like Ms Jo. She was an institution. She was just a good human. When she spoke about her kids she wasn´t bragging. She was just PROUD. If you want to a role model Ms. Jo would be a great candidate. Not just in day care but in life . Thank you.

Taking my daughter to Creative Learning and finding out Ms. Jo was one of her teachers, and helping take care of her and family while working for a local physician. She is one of the best people I've ever met and had the joy of her touching my life.

Miss Jo was the best. Earlier this week our granddaughter was reading the wonderful things Miss Jo send home about our daughter on the Creative Learning "Toddler Tattler" years ago. Miss Jo showed the children so much love and they learned kindness and care with her. She was strong in her defense of the kids and assured all was well for them to the fullest extent she could. When we took our child out of preschool we told the school that if they could have Miss Jo at all age levels we could never leave because she was so special. Years before childcare, I remember her working at Burger Queen and I was SOOO impressed with her memory as she worked with customers, staff and orders. Last year I saw her at the hospital and she was still showing such compassion and care and had such a great memory for those whose lives had touched hers through the years. Her loss makes me cry because the world has lost a bright light but then I smile a bit as I know there are so many other bright lights that were lit by her love and that will shine on to the new generation. I pray that the comfort of the Lord will be very near to those who mourn the passing of this wonderful woman.
