Anna Ruth Sapp

DYER CHAPEL - Anna Ruth Sapp, was born on February 5, 1938, in Putnam County, Tennessee. She departed from this world on September 29, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center at the age of 87.

She enjoyed a fulfilling career as a Customer Service Representative/TN Licensed Insurance Agent with Legge Insurance Company, where her warmth and professionalism were a constant source of support to coworkers and clients alike. Her commitment to her work and her colleagues exemplified the values she held dear throughout her life.

Anna Ruth enriched the lives of those around her with her dedication and kindness. She was a faithful member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Cookeville, and her favorite pastimes-playing UNO, tackling puzzles, and researching her genealogy-spoke to her love of connection and discovery.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Glenda Wise of Princeton, Indiana and several nieces & nephews.

Anna is preceded in death by her parents Haskell Franklin Henry and Mary Jewell Morgan Henry; her husband Charles Raymond Sapp; sister, Janell Rice, and brother, Charles Henry.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, October 3, 2025 at 11:00 am in the Nash Cemetery in White County (398 Nash Cemetery Road, off of Heady Rd. in Sparta, TN.) with Christian Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
