Jo Van Allen Obituary
Age 84 of Joliet, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 3, 2022 at Arcadia Care in Morris with her loving family by her side.
Jo Ann is survived by her daughter: Julie A. (David) Wiedmeyer; grandchildren: David A. (Kelly) Wiedmeyer Jr., Zachary L. Wiedmeyer and Gianna N. (Travis) Wiedmeyer Townsley; great-grandchildren: Ryder, Zackary, Lily, Deliah, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Lawrence Van Allen, Jr; brother: Eugene (Margie) J. Sartori, and her parents: Pearl and Joseph Sartori.
Jo Ann was born and raised in Joliet. She loved cats, playing cards and bingo, working on crafts and puzzles. She was always full of joy and had a quick wit. Jo Ann was a loving wife and Auntie who will be dearly missed.
Per Jo Ann's wishes, cremation rites have been accorded and she will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Romeoville at a later date.
