Jo Ann Viator, of New Iberia, born to Weldon and Augusta LeBlanc Viator on July 27, 1954, passed away peacefully at Iberia Medical Center on August 16, 2025, at the age of 71.

JoAnn was a great cook and loved to take trips to the Casino. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Her greatest love was her four-legged dog named Quincy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son, Chad P. Viator of New Iberia; her niece Erica Mouret Armand and husband, Richard Armand and one great nephew Henry Armand all of Riverview Florida; her nephew, Michael Mouret Jr and great-nephew Brise Mouret and great-niece, Mallory Mouret, of New Iberia; and her Godchild, Jenni Segura; as well as her close friend and former husband, Ernie Cunningham and her beloved fur baby, Quincy.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Augusta LeBlanc "Gussie" Viator; father, Weldon "T-Boy" Viator; two sisters, Vicky Viator and Lisa V. Mouret; brother Zachary Viator; paternal grandparents, Stanley Viator and Lillian R. Hebert; and maternal grandparents, Louis and Evelyn C. LeBlanc as well as her two fur babies, Max and Miley whom she missed dearly.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Jackie Girard, and Kathy Derouen for all of your love and support; and the staff of Iberia Medical Center and Hospice of Acadiana for extraordinary care and compassion. You are all angels on earth.

Family and Friends are invited to gather in celebration of JoAnn's life at Louisiana Funeral Services & Crematory located at 108 Hardware Rd. In Broussard, on Saturday August 23rd. from 9AM-12pm followed by and Prayer service at 12pm. She will be placed to rest immediately following the service in St. Peters Cemetery of New Iberia.
