Joan Helen Aldridge, age 71, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, May 19, 2024.
She was born at Fort Benning Military Hospital to the late James and Nina Farley. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers Boris Farley (Evelyn) and Alan Troy Farley.
Surviving in addition to her loving life companion, Doyle Lynch, are: a brother James "Frankie" Farley; sisters Lillian Fulknier (Frank) and Avis Bercowicz; sons Troy Aldridge (Dana) and Jason Aldridge (Michelle); grandchildren Katelyn Ficklin (Adam), Megan Aldridge (John Davis), Gabrielle Turner (Austin), and Alana Aldridge; great-grandchildren Elijah and Adalyn.
Joan enjoyed a variety of occupations throughout her life and was self-employed for many years. Before her illness, she attended Oakdale Baptist Church, and enjoyed attending church with her sons when able. She truly loved life and living for the Lord and her greatest joy was her family.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Highland Home Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Joan worked for my parents Richard and Harriet Anderson for many years. She was like family to them and even visited them in their assisted living facility. Joan is special to our family. We are sorry to learn of her passing and extend our deepest sympathy to her loved ones.
