I'm so sorry for your loss - May the God of all comfort be with you and your family.

My father, Ken Dean, asked me to write you, Milton, to let you know he is thinking about you and that he sends his condolences. He has told us the story many times over the years how one day he couldn't make his golf time with you due to a bad cold. Later that day, the doorbell rang, he went to see who it was, and it was Joan, holding a bowl of chicken soup she had made and brought to him, to help cure his cold.
She sure made an impression on my dad that day. I didn't know her myself, but she was obviously a very kind and generous woman.

Joanie was indeed an angel, and a beautiful one at that! She was always so sweet and nice. My heart goes out to all her family. May wonderful memories of this gracious lady always be a source of blessing for all who knew and loved her!

Dear Family,
I was so saddened by the news that Joannie had passed. Joannie and Milton were friends of my parents (Kent and Bill Dalby) and through the years I heard wonderful golfing stories about times with them. I was fortunate enough to have met Joannie recently this past May when I put on a luncheon on behalf of my mom who had passed. Joannie was all that I thought she'd be--sweet, gracious, giving, caring, and beautiful. I will treasure my memories of talking to her on that day. The girls at the club brought so much joy to each other and I know they all shared a special bond. I will say a special prayer for Joannie and will miss her greatly. I wish to send my condolences and love to her family today. Love, Tricia Dalby
