Joan Cole Obituary
She was predeceased by her husband, David "Red" Cole, her parents, William and Blanche Foss, her brothers, Frederick and Leo Foss and her sister, Karen Foss. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Gagnon of Farmington, NH, her sister, Leah and her husband Paul Kelley of Topsfield, her sister-in-law Rose Foss of Beverly and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was a member of the Spear Post of the American Legion in Beverly where she was employed for many years and held the rank of sergeant-at-arms. Above all, she was a true American patriot.
She was a loyal friend and generous to all in need. She was especially fond of all animals and had a number of pets over the years.
Funeral services for Joan are private. Contributions may be made in Joan's memory to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan Street, Ste.B-102, Danvers, MA 01923. Arrangements by Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com
