Joan F. Errington, 85, went home to be with the Lord on August 17, 2024.
Born in Akron, she was a resident of Hartville for 55 years. She worked for Rent Wear Uniform Company for 10 years and was a member of TOPS, where she also served as president. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and baking,
Joan was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Errington; parents, James and Edith Bellman; and her siblings. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Carl Errington; sons, Carl Errington II (Patricia Phillips) and Philip Errington (Cari); grandchildren, Bryan Wilson, Timothy Wilson, Ashley Errington, Carl Errington III, Michael Wandling, Casey Sitler; 1 great grandchild.
The family would like to thank everyone who helped take care of Joan, including Crossroads Hospice and Jane Hudkins.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, August 22nd from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685. Funeral service will be held Friday, August 23rd at 11 a.m. with an hour of visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Akron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org)
