Joan Felker Obituary
Joan Hunt Felker, 84, of Newberry was called home by her Lord on Monday, May 5, 2025 while residing at White Oak Manor.
Joan was born in Holbeach, England in the county of Lincolnshire on May 13, 1940. She was a resident of Newberry where she owned and operated Joan's Casual Shoppe. She has three sons, seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Joan loved to tend her garden but loved her roses best. She loved to bake and cook and took great pride in her culinary creations. She especially enjoyed sharing them with her family and friends.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Felker, her father, Walter Hunt, and her mother, Clara Caesar Hunt.
Memorial services for Joan will be held at 2:00 pm on May 15, 2025 at Freedom Baptist Church by the Reverend Eddie Bledsoe. Private burial will be in Whitmire Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend a thank you to all of the caregivers and staff at White Oak Manor for their love and attention to mother during her residency there.
