Joan Harrison Obituary
Joan enjoyed gardening and learning about history. She retired from Surry County Social Services after 30 years of dedicated service.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Michael D. Harrison; stepdaughters, Shelley H. Jones (Shane) and their children Nicholas and Bethany, Wanda Walker (Scott) and their son, Brady; sister, Kay Stevens of Swansboro, NC; brother, Floyd Wayne Roberts (Susan) of Boiling Springs, PA; niece, Carla; nephew, Brian; one grandnephew, and two grandnieces.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 at 1 PM at Claremont Cemetery. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel is serving the family. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
