Joan And John Latowski

John and Joan Latowski John (74) and Joan Latowski (72), longtime residents of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away together last week.
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, John and Joan spent the first 50 years of their lives in the city they loved before relocating to PGA Village in Port St. Lucie 22 years ago.
John was best known for his lifelong passion for golf. He competed in numerous events in both Pennsylvania and Florida, proudly winning Florida State Golf Association senior and father-son tournaments with his sons, Andrew and Joseph. Just as much as he loved playing, he loved watching golf-and especially traveling to watch his sons compete. It was one of his greatest joys.
Joan (Latwin) was a dedicated healthcare professional, beginning her career as a nurse in Pittsburgh. After raising their three children, she returned to work at Treasure Coast Hospice, where she was still employed full-time. Known for her kindness, warmth, and thoughtfulness, Joan loved being part of her workplace community, especially during holiday events and celebrations.
More than anything, John and Joan were exceptional parents. They were loving, selfless, and dedicated to their family-always placing their children above all else.
They are survived by their children: Andrew of San Diego, CA; Sarah of Port St. Lucie, FL; and Joseph, also of Port St. Lucie. Joan is also survived by her siblings, Susan, Roberta, and Tom. John is survived by his siblings, Susan, Judith, and Tom.
