Joan Modglin Obituary

Joan spent many years of her life being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She enjoyed playing Mahjong, reading and bowling. She loved making trips to the casino and traveling.
Joan is survived by her sons, Raymond Modglin (Kelly) and Kenneth Modglin; grandchildren, Brandon, Kaleb, Ian, Connor, Olivia and Sean; great-grandchildren, Brody, Lauren, Piper and Kolton; and sister, Barbara (George) Phillips. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Robert; and husband, Jimmie.
Visitation and funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made by mail to the Hancock County Humane Society, 214 E. Main St., Greenfield, IN 46140, or envelopes will be available at the mortuary. Friends may share a memory or condolence at www.erleweinmortuary.com.
