Joan Pingree Obituary
She was born in Newburyport on October 27, 1931, daughter of the late James & Alice (Hill) Crooks.
Joan was educated in Newburyport School system, graduating from Newburyport High School in 1948. She was employed for 15 years as a secretary for the Haverhill Fire Dept. And School Dept. Prior to this she worked at the former Western Electric, Haverhill.
She enjoyed reading, knitting, playing piano and time with her grandchildren.
Joan is predeceased by her loving husband Frank P. who passed away in 2020 and her sister Joyce Batchelder.
She is survived by her children; Stephen & his wife Margo of Bradford, Sandra Piwko and her husband Paul of Milford, grandchildren; Matthew, Zachary, Nicholas, Eric & Kaylee.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes, Bradford-Haverhill.
