Joan Elizabeth Reppond, 79, of Mayflower passed away peacefully in her home September 17, 2025 with family at her bedside after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She was born November 17, 1945 in North Little Rock (Marche), Arkansas to Jake and Rosie Zajac and was the youngest of six children.
She leaves behind her devoted husband of 46 years, Lester Reppond, step-children Debbie (Joey) Smith of Benton and Greg Reppond of North Little Rock, sister-in-law's Betty Price of Cabot and Barbara Zajac of Maumelle along with multiple grand-children, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Ted Zajac, Al Zajac, Marion Zajac, Connie Ryan and Gussie Zakrzewski, along with step-daughter Sharon Rogers.
Joan was a loving wife and retired from Timex after 38 years of dedication and hard work. She loved gardening with her husband and never missed an opportunity to go to the casino to gamble.
The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice for making her comfortable in her final days.
Memorials may be made in her memory to the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in North Little Rock, Ar.
Family and friends are invited to attend services on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 at Immaculate Church of
Mary Catholic Church in North Little Rock, Ar. Visitation will begin at 9:30am and will be followed by a Rosary at 10:30am
with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial will be in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery.
