Joan was born in Boston Massachusetts to Henry and Alice Appleby.
Joan was always outspoken, Honest (to a fault), likable, friendly and funny.
Joan served in the Marine Corp from 1952 to 1954.
Joan loved her family! She enjoyed visiting with her kids and grandkids.
She also enjoyed reading, gardening, Bingo, dice, crosswords, puzzle, cribbage as well as watching old westerns and the Hallmark channel.
Joan is survived by:
Children: Larry, Bob, Susan, Danny, Jan, Mark and Annie
Grand children: Scott, Rob, Lisa, Steven, Justin, Gina, Krystal, Rhiannon, Kayla, Ashley, Kassyndra and Bobby J.
Great Grandchildren: MaKayla, Haley, Brianna, Malakai, Jacob, Mariah, Morgan, Kimberly, Araya, Isaiah, and Lawsen.
Great Great Grandchildren: Jaden and Maliah
Joan is preceded in death by:
Parents: Henry and Alice Appleby
Siblings: Alice, Sonny, Dorothy, and Harry
Spouse: Harry
Children: Harry and Bobby
We will be having a celebration of Joan's life on July 19th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Finley Butte Park: 51390 Walling Ln, La Pine, OR 97739
Joan asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a local veterans program. For our local program we have selected The Central Oregon Veterans Ranch.
