Private family graveside services for Joan M. Seaburg, 87, of Fairmont, MN, will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Fairmont. There will be a time of sharing memories and remembering Joan's life with lunch and fellowship on Sunday, November 2, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Lakeview Funeral Home in Fairmont, MN. Joan passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, at Season's Healthcare in Trimont, MN. The Lakeview Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fairmont is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Joan Marie (Ramthun) Seaburg was born October 30, 1937, in Mantorville, MN, the daughter of Donald A. Sr. and Alyce B. (Jensen) Ranthum. She attended school in Rochester, MN, and graduated from Rochester High School with the class of 1955. Following her graduation, Joan worked as an operator at the telephone company.

On November 28, 1962, Joan was united in marriage to Duane "Dan" R. Seaburg in Rochester, MN. To this union, one daughter was born, Vicki. In 1965, the family moved to Fairmont, where Joan worked as a secretary at Cable TV in Fairmont until her retirement in 1998.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Vicki Wehner and her husband, Clarence of Fairmont, MN; her favorite "grand cats", Max and Kalli; sister, Alyce Jo McGrath of Winona, WI; and brother-in-law, Jerry McGrath of LaCrosse, WI; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Alyce Ranthum Sr.; husband, Duane "Dan" Seaburg; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eldin and Doris Seaburg; sister, Jackie Ryan; brother, Donald A. Ranthun Jr.; sister-in-law, Sue Ramthun; and brothers-in-law, Norb Ryan, and Philip Seaburg.

The family requests memorials be left in Joan's name to the Martin County Humane Society in Fairmont.
