Joan Carol Wire (Zarzycki), 77 years old of
Richboro, PA passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, surrounding by her loving family. She was born in 1947 in Philadelphia to the late Vincent and Mary Zarzycki (Marcelewski).
Joan was so much to so many. She was a devoted doting Mother, a loving and loyal wife, a cherished friend, confidant to many, and a lifelong volunteer.
She was the heart of our family, always offering unconditional love, wisdom, and kindness for anyone in need whether they were a family member or someone who needed her warm loving ways. As a wife, she was a true partner, sharing a lifetime of love, devotion, and memories with the love of her life, Michael. They were always up for an adventure and enjoyed spontaneous road trips to destinations unknown just as long as they were together. As a Mother, she nurtured her girls with patience and grace, always encouraging them to follow their dreams and was their biggest cheerleader; there was nothing they couldn't do in her eyes. Together she and her husband provided a storybook childhood for their girls offering endless memories, a strong moral foundation, and all the love and support one could ask for. It was a childhood to envy.
Beyond her family, she was a pillar of her community, giving selflessly through countless years of dedication to the Bucks County Pro Life Coalition. She was very proud of the work she did with the organization; with due right as she was instrumental in saving the lives of many children that would have otherwise been aborted. She embodied the spirit of generosity, love, compassion, and unwavering commitment to helping those in need.
Joan's legacy of love, kindness, and service will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Michael Jacob Wire; three daughters, Jennifer Tavani and her husband Peter of Newtown, Michelle Wire and her husband Butch Muff of Doylestown, and Megan Livernoche of California; grandchildren, Taylor Wire, Riley Peralta, Corinne Tavani, Kayla Morawski, Zachary Morawski, Everly Muff, Journey Livernoche and Link Livernoche. She is predeceased by her brothers, Vincent Zarzycki and Bobby Zarzycki.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, March 12th from 9am-10am at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Road,
Richboro, PA. A memorial service will follow. Interment will take place at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
