Ms Joann Bolden

Joann Tucker Bolden was born on September 24, 1944, to L.C. Tucker and Margaret C. Tucker in Thornton, Texas. She began her education at Rosenwald Elementary, attending from 1st to 7th grade, and later went to Washington High School in Groesbeck, Texas. During her senior year, her family moved to Dallas, Texas, where she completed her high school education at Lincoln High School.
On December 28, 1962, Joann married her childhood sweetheart, Carl E. Bolden. Together, they were blessed with three children: Melanie C. Bolden, Bryant C. Bolden, and Kevin C. Bolden. Joann was also a proud grandmother to two grandchildren, Neil B. Bolden and Collin J. Bolden.
Joann leaves behind cherished memories with her four sisters, Martha Lewis, Dorothy Tucker, Renee Tucker, and Tammy Salmond, and her two brothers, Travis Tucker and K.C. Tucker. She also leaves a special niece and nephew, Yolanda Watkins and Jared Jackson.
