JoAnn Boman, 85, of Troy, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2025 at her home. She was born on August 20, 1940 in St. Louis to William and Mildred (Middleswart) Paxton. She grew up with her three siblings: James, Sandra and Patti Jo. After her formal schooling, she joined the workforce and worked as a teller for United Credit Union. JoAnn was a loving and nuturing mother to her children and cherished each and everyone of them.

She is survived by her four children: Thomas "Craig" Boman of St. Peters, Timothy Boman of Bowling Green, Michele and husband Rick Jameson of Bowling Green, Vickie Slack of Troy; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is further survived by her three siblings: James Paxton of Apache Junction, Arizona, Sandra Beasley of Oveda, Florida and Patti Jo and husband Larry McCrea of Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her great-grandson, Corey Michael Jameson.

Memorials may be made to: Make-A-Wish or American Heart Association.
