JoAnn Erwin

JoAnn Erwin, 92 of Morgantown, WV passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2024, surrounded by members of her family.
JoAnn received her Bachelor of Science degree at West Virginia University and worked for the Department of Energy as a hydrogeologist for more than thirty years. She had a profound love for nature and the environment; she chose a career where she could work in it and protect it.
She had many diverse interests and passions: an accomplished equestrian, painter and artisan, musician, chef, and master gardener.
She particularly enjoyed spending time with her family, pets, and gardens.
She is survived by three daughters Lorelei, Jessica, and Kirsten, as well as one son Matthew ( Florence) Erwin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years Dr. Robert B. Erwin.
In keeping with JoAnn's wishes, there will be no public service.
