JoAnn M. Ferrara

JoAnn M. (Carroll) Ferrara, born on October 10, 1932, in Syracuse, New York, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2025, in Rockville Centre, New York.

JoAnn was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Ferrara. Together they built a loving family grounded in faith, kindness, and devotion. She is survived by her children Rose Marie Towns and her husband Robert Towns, and Anthony Ferrara and his wife Maureen Ferrara. JoAnn was predeceased by her son Ralph Ferrara, whose memory she cherished deeply.

She was also predeceased by her sister Shirley Carroll Hansen and is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

JoAnn was a proud and loving grandmother to Michael and his fiancée Shannon, Joseph, Heather and her husband Jacques, and Melanie and her husband Connor, and a devoted great-grandmother to Christopher and Roman, who brought her immense joy and laughter.

JoAnn will be remembered for her warmth, her generosity, and the unwavering love she shared with her family and friends. Her legacy of compassion and strength will continue to live on through all those whose lives she touched.
