JoAnn Mary Gigliotti

JoAnn was born on January 28, 1936, in Kansas City, Mo, and lived most of her life in Gresham Oregon. She resided at Homewood Heights Assisted Living in Milwaukie the last 8 months of her life where she made wonderful friends and was given exceptional care.

JoAnn was married to Tony Gigliotti, with whom she shared many happy years until his passing in July 1986. She was the devoted mother of four children - Sharon Walls (Dale), Annette Steele (Joe), Anthony Gigliotti (Kelly), and daughter Pamela, who preceded her in death in 2019. JoAnn was also a proud Nana to Andrea Johnson (Randy), Tony Steele (Mandy), Ben and Tim Walls, and loving Joya, to Kolbe and Lukas Johnson and Jonah Steele. JoAnn loved nothing more than family gatherings - especially her traditional Sunday spaghetti dinners. She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, cooking, and cheering on her beloved Kansas City Chiefs. JoAnn was a long-time member of St. Henry Catholic Church, and the Gresham Community Choir. She especially enjoyed performing in the choir's kazoo band, bringing smiles and joy to seniors and shut ins. JoAnn will be remembered for her humor and straight forward personality, but mostly, her unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

A Celebration of life will be held Nov 5th, 2025 at Gresham Memorial Chapel 257 SE Roberts St. Gresham; at 11 AM. Reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, or the Gresham Community Choir, who performs free concerts to raise food for local food banks.
